Project is located in the Williams Valley Ranch Business Park, Zoned Industrial and is consistent with the Williams General Plan.
Document Description
A new CHP station is proposed to be built near the intersection of E Street and Husted Road. This facility would replace an existing station located at 735 North Seventh Street, Williams, CA, approximately three miles west of the proposed project site. The current facility is temporary and lacks adequate space for staff and equipment. The project design is compatible with the setting and use of the Valley Ranch Business Park and the project would not affect any natural resources of the Business Park. The relocation of the CHP facility would provide effective response time for its primary mission, "management and regulation of traffic to achieve safe, lawful, and efficient use of the highway transportation system."
