Document Description
The City of San Diego proposes to install approximately 1.4 miles (7,320 feet) of new 16-inch PVC water main in new alignment eight to twelve feet deep along North Harbor Drive between Mitcher Road and Laurel Street. The new main would proceed along North Harbor Drive in two non-continuous segments on each side of Lindbergh Field connecting with a 16-inch water main in the jurisdiction of the San Diego Unified Port District. The project includes abandonment of 1.4 miles (7,320 feet) of existing water main and resurfacing of the North Harbor Drive. The project is located in the Port of San Diego Master Plan, Harbor Island/Lindbergh Field Planning District 2, Coastal Overlay Zone (San Diego Unified Port District Jurisdiction), Airport Environs Overlay Zone, Council District 2. Applicant: City of San Diego Engineering and Capital Projects Department, Wastewater Facilities Division.
