The proposed project consists of the construction of a 1,200 square feet agricultural support facility including construction of a septic disposal system and stormwater runoff drainage facilities. The facility would to be used for the slaughtering of deer raised on the property and the processing of deer meat for commercial purposes. The proposed project includes slaughtering up to 40 deer per month. Processed meat would be transported by the applicant for distribution and sale at different locations. No on-site distribution or selling of processed meat is proposed as part of the project. Deer raising on the property is permitted and regulated by the California Department of Fish and Game through the issuance of a California Fallow Deer Permit which must be renewed annually.
