The proposed project consists of the construction, operation, and maintenance of a sand filter system in Aliso Creek. The proposed sand filter is a pilot project intended to improve the quality of urban runoff discharged into Aliso Creek from Munger Storm Drain and provide data on the effectiveness of sand filters that could be applied to other watersheds.
