Document Description
The applicant proposes projects which have the potential to substantially divert or obstruct the natural flow or substantially change the bed, channel, or bank of a river, stream, or lake designated by the California Fish and Game Code, Section 1603. The following are the locations and descriptions of the proposed projects: location 1 (SW 1/4 NW 1/4 SEC 15T17N R16W MDB&M 7.5-minute U.S. Geological Survey quadrangle map) is Map Point 51, and the removal and abandonment of an existing temporary crossing; location 2 (SW1/4 SW1/4 SEC9 T17N R16W MDB&M) is Map Point 13, and the reconstruction of an erodent Class II crossing; location 3 (NW1/4 NE1/4 SEC 15 T17N R16W and NW1/4 SE1/4 SEC 16 T17N R16W MDB&M) is Map point 28, and the replacement of a Class II culvert crossing with a temporary crossing and rocked ford, and location 5 is one drafting site (this is a ridge top pond which provides aquatic habitat located at S2,11&12 of T17N R16W, ( 7.5 min. Quad). The proposed projects are associated with the East Side Rumbler Harvest Plan (THP), 1-01-290 MEN. The proposed projects are located in the Little North Fork Big River watershed, Mendocino County. The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement 2001-0721, pursuant to Section 1603 to the project applicant, Kirk O'Dwyer, Campbell Timberland Management LLC.
