Document Description
The objective of the project is to restore 5.81 acres of riparian habitat by creating a slough. The excavated area will be planted with native vegetation in the summer of 2003. After the earthwork is done in the summer of 2002, the excavated area will be seeded for erosion control. In the excavation process, invasive plants will be removed from the area and replaced with native species. The excavated material from the terrace will be used to form three pads to expand existing vineyard by 4.11 acres.
