- Document Description
- SCOE proposes to expand its existing community school located on Old Redwood Highway in the northern portion of the Town of Windsor. The Windsor Community School serves high school level students who have been directed to the school for a variety of personal reasons. SCOE intends to purchase an existing Park and Ride facility from Sonoma County Transit. The property (APN 086-220-027) is 0.66 acres in size. The majority of the site was paved and landscaped by Sonoma County Transit when the Park and Ride facility was developed. The southern portion of the existing paved area will be utilized as an outdoor recreation area and the northern portion will be retained as parking. A new manufactured classroom is planned to be located on the southern end of the site in the future. When the expansion project is complete, a total of 40 students between 9th and 12th grade will attend the community school during regular school hours.
