The proposed project involves the acquisition of property, construction of a new school building and associated site improvements, and conversion of the existing middle school to an elementary school. The school site is a 35.7 acre portion of a 45.2 acre site that has been previously identified for school use and is currently undeveloped. It is anticipated that a new road (Thayer Road) will be constructed as a joint-project with other parties as part of the Town of Truckee's Circulation Plan.
