Request to demolish the existing commercial buildings at 222 Soscol Avenue and construct a 17,223 square foot Longs Drugs Store on this property and the vacant parcel to the south. The proposed one story building will be located in the south end of the property with a 93-car parking lot along the north side of the property. Project approvals include: 1) a Rezoning of the project site from CH:FP:TI, Heavy Commercial:Flood Plain:Traffic Impact Overlay Zoning District to CC:FP:TI, Community Commercial:Flood Plain: Traffic Impact Overlay Zoning District; 2) a Use Permit to authorize a site development plan for the construction of a 17,223 square foot commercial building; and 3) Design Review of the building and site plan.
