DPR proposes to restore the stone portion of the Jack London's Cottage to its original 1916 appearance and prepare the entire cottage for use as a house museum that will be open to the public. Most of the original historic fabric is present and will be retained during the restoration. The wood-framed portion of the cottage was restored during previous work in 1992 and earlier. Disability access will be added/improved at both the Cottage and House of Happy Walls, to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
