Document Description
The project will merger three adopted Redevelopment Plans into a single project in the City of Maywood. The affected Redevelopment Project Areas encompass approximately 730 acres (the "Existing Project Areas"), and cover the entire City. The Existing Project Areas are the focus of this environmental assessment. The Maywood Redevelopment Agency has proposed the Project for the purpose of alleviating blight and promoting reinvestment in the Existing Project Areas. Although no development or construction is proposed at this time, continued implementation of the affected Redevelopment Plans is expected to facilitate infrastructure improvement and rehabilitation activities consistent with the adopted Maywood General Plan.
