Document Description
The Canyon Sewer Cleaning Program proposes to clean and maintain all City of San Diego sewer pipelines within canyons and other environmentally sensitive lands, and construct new temporary access paths where necessary. The Cleaning Program would implement performance criteria and procedural guidelines to avoid and/or minimize environmental impacts. The Long-Term Sewer Maintenance Program proposes to evaluate each of the City's sewer lines in environmentally-sensitive areas for long-term maintenance access needs and would include those sewer pipelines in the Cleaning Program. This evaluation would be based upon recently adopted Council Policies, 400-13 and 400-14. Both Programs would be implemented City-wide Applicant: City of San Diego, Metropolitan Wastewater Department.
