- The San Diego Regional Water Quality Control Board is issuing a Clean Water Act Section 401 water quality certification (Cert. No. R9-2013-0192) to the project applicant, City of San Diego, Public Utilities Department. The applicant proposes to repair a section of sewer pipe located within Murphy Canyon Creek by installing a Cured-in-Place-Pipe liner between manholes (MHs) 110 and 111. The Project will include clearing of wetland vegetation and sediment to create workspace around MHs 109, 110, 111, installing temporary coffer dams and dewatering standing water, and by-pass pumping sewage from MH 109 to MH 112.
