Document Description
The City Council in 1995 adopted a mitigated Negative Declaration for a proposal by Riverside Library to acquire a site at 9670 Magnolia Avenue for future development with a branch library. The City is now proposing to acquire an adjacent .55 acre site at the corner of Magnolia and Taft (9644-52 Magnolia Avenue) from the Redevelopment Agency for incorporation into the future library site. The acreage of the expanded prospective library site is approximately 2 acres. The conceptual site plan indicates an approximately 13,000 square foot building at the southwesterly corner of Taft and Magnolia Avenues and an approximately 75-space parking lot.
