Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Madera County Resource Management - Roads Department, 201 W. Almond Avenue, Madera, California 93687. The project consists of reconstruction and widening of Road 200 within an 80 foot right-of-way, which will include multiple culvert extensions, replacements, and the installation of three new culverts. During construction, hay bale check dams or other erosion control devices incorporating Best Management Practices will be installed below graded areas to intercept sediments, and following construction, rock slope protections will be installed at inlets and/or outlets. Disturbed riparian areas will be regraded and revegetated with native riparian species following construction.
