Document Description
The Irvine Ranch Water District (IRWD) plans to construct a trunk sewer and a 30-inch Zone A parallel reclaimed water pipeline in Jeffrey Road, from Irvine Center Drive to Trabuco Road. These pipeline improvements are a result of the increased demands and future developments. In addition, the City of Irvine is planning to construct a railroad under crossing at Jeffrey Road. The under crossing will necessitate relocation of IRWD's existing facilities: a 24-inch domestic Zone 1 pipeline, a 12-inch domestic Zone 1 pipeline, and a 16-inch reclaimed water Zone A pipeline. This Project includes reclaimed water pipeline and wastewater designs recommended in IRWD's Area Utility Plan for Planning Areas 5B, 6, 8A and 9, and the IRWD Water Resources Master Plan (WRMP).
