This is a Conditional Use Permit application to allow continued operation of an existing scrap metal processing and recycling yard. The operation was permitted under CUP No. 89-347. End products are for both domestic and oversea uses. There are two exisitng structures on site: one is a covered structure of approximately 46,500 sq. ft. for scrap metal processing and recycling activities; the other is an office building of 2,379 sq.ft. The operation is proposed to be between 7:30am to 4:00pm with about 20 employees in one shift. This application also includes a Parking Permit: 117 parking spaces are required, but only 62 spaces will be provided.
