Document Description
Project consists of developing a 4 foot wide, 3/4 mile hiking trail to provide public access in recently acquired parkland and will involve minor trimming of branches, but no native plant removal. Trail is designed to follow natural land contours, will minimize impact to wildlife and their habitat, and will provide interpretation of riparian plant and animal species, early native inhabitants, and nearby historic trails and cultural sites through a series of interpretive signs placed along the trail. Signs will be placed 18 inches into the soil approximately 24 inches off the trail, and at the trailhead.
