Document Description
Project consists of the establishment of a 1/3 mile equestrian connector trail starting at a previously excavated County Roads department borrow pit, east of County Road S-2 and 1/4 mile north off Highway 78 and linking with the northern extension of the Pacific Crest Trail. Project is necessary to eliminate current hazardous practice of horse unloading on the state highway, and will avoid established plants and historic/prehistoric sites, follow a gradient of less than 5%, and increase recreation opportunities to park visitors.
