Document Description
Project consists of salvaging archaeological information being lost to erosion and trail use at three previously recorded sites (CA-SDI-9595, CA-SDI-14451 & CA-SDI-14452) within a State Reserve. To determine the depth and content of the sites and to salvage cultural resources from trail erosion, the project requires digging five 1x1 meter test excavation pits and 5 to 10 auger test holes, surface collection of archaeological materials, and detailed site mapping by state archaeologists.

Project will not result in a serious or major disturbance to an environmental resource. (class 6)
