Document Description
This project consists of the removal of approximately 11 trees from the bottom of the Laural Creek Diversion channel in the City of Suisun City, Solano County, for flood control purposes. The trees are mostly willow along with four non-native palms. The trees to be removed are listed and numbered on the attached map. Seven willows will be removed near Railroad Avenue, between Sunset Avenue and Silk Oak Drive. Another four non-native palm trees will be removed near the intersection of Canvasback Drive and Worley Road. The trees are to be cut down with chainsaws and drug out of the channel by equipment staged on top of the bank, where they will be chipped and mulched. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2001-0913A pursuant to Fish and Game Section Code 1601.
