The Draft EIR was prepared to provide an assessment of the proposed N. Main Street/Ygnacio Valley Road Specific Plan - a proposed long-range plan for a 30-acre area in the downtown area of the City of Walnut Creek. The Specific Plan provides circulation system improvements, streetscape improvements, and development guidelines for properties within the Plan area. Four possible development scenarios could be pursued with approval of the Specific Plan, including the Transit Village scenario.
