Document Description
Nevada Joint Union High School District (NJUHSD) proposes to construct a connecting road from the southerly part of its high school campus, south across the lands of Sierra College, to connect to Sierra College Drive, a City of Grass Valley public street. This access road could be used for Student drop-off and/or bus loading as needed. The roadway would accommodate two-way traffic and would include a concrete sidewalk on one side for pedestrian access. The sidewalk would become a part of the Litton Trail system, which already plans to follow portions of this route. The access road would include street lighting of sufficient intensity to allow pedestrian and vehicle access at night to serve night classes, sport competitions, and other events. Construction is expected to start on this project in late Summer of 2002 or in Spring of 2003.
