Document Description
Landowners within Plain View Water District (District) have historically transferred water to eligible neighboring agricultural water users. Water is made available to the District through a water service contract with the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation and is equitably allocated to landowners by the District. Landowners who have reduced their water use have made their remaining water allocations available for transfer to neighboring water districts or individual water users. A primary objective of the water transfer program is to implement the District water transfer policy Resolution 2002, adopted by the Board of Directors of Plain View Water District.
