Document Description
The proposed project is to restore and enhance degraded habitat on the Perry Gun Club site (Pond 20B) at the Eden Landing Ecological Reserve. Habitat has been degraded on the site by an infestation of Lepidium latifolium a highly invasive weed. Lepidium now dominates the 15 acres surrounding the old club-house site and has spread to the low berms in the southern portion of the pond. Lepidium will be controlled using chemical and hydrologic manipulations. Lepidium will be sprayed on the 15-acres and the low berms in the southern portion of the pond. The 15-acres will be graded to increase water ponding depth and a water control inlet and outlet structure will be installed to reintroduce tide water to the created salt panne at specified times of the year.
