Document Description
The project involves the implementation of activities specified in the Removal Action Workplan (RAW) to remove soil with concentrations of trichloroethylene (TCE) exceeding 1.7 mg/kg. The RAW was prepared in accordance with California Health and Safety Code Section 25356. 1 (h). The removal activities will include: 1. Excavation of approximately 30 cubic yards of soil impacted by trichloroethylene; 2. Collection of confirmation soil samples to verify if remedial goals have been achieved; 3. Transportation and disposal of TCE impacted soil to an appropriate permitted landfill; and 4. Backfilling the excavated areas with imported, clean soil and restoring to pre-excavation conditions.
