Document Description
Proposal to construct a 3-story, 33,500 square foot addition to the existing 178,700 square foot, 211 room Embassy Suites Hotel at 1075 California Boulevard. The proposed addition will be detached from the existing hotel and will include 36 upscale suites 3,025 square feet of courtyard garden and 36 on-site parking spaces. There will be no restaurant, bar or other services in the addition, however these and other typical amenities will be availabe to guests at the main hotel. The proposed addition together with the existing hotel, will total 212,200 square feet of building space on an 8.4 acre site. Two existing driveways will provide access to the hotel from California Boulevard. A third driveway is proposed at the south end of the site, and will be used only for emergency access.
