Document Description
This project will construct a new potable water well for the City of Mountain View Municipal Water System. The first phase of construction will involve drilling of the well to a depth of approximately 565 feet, installing casing, gravel pack and seals and development of the well. The second phase will construct a pump station with pump controls, chemical room and emergency generator. Groundwater will be drawn from the deep water aquifier which is managed and charged by the Santa Clara Valley Water District, and following the standards and direction of the California Department of Health Services, the regulatory agency which oversees public water systems.
