Document Description
Caltrans proposes to construct a four-lane expressway of State Route 14 with one new interchange at California City Boulevard in Kern County. The purpose of the project is to improve safety by reducing the number of accidents, and improve system continuity. Five build alternatives and a No Action alternative was studied. Alternative 5 has been selected as the preferred alternative because it would have the least impact to the overall environment.
