Document Description
The project will result in the modernization and expansion of the existing tomato processing facility historically operated by Tri-Valley Growers. Development plans for the facility will result in the construction of 100,000 square feet of new production facility, 85,000 square feet to be constructed during the Phase II expansion. An additional 140 parking spaces would be added that would result in parking to accommodate 400 vehicles on site. With approval of this Conditional Use Permit, the processing plant will be allowed to operate at full capacity. Ultimate expansion for the plant is between 75,000 tons and 120,000 tons per season of peaches and between 900,000 tons and 1,500,000 tons per year in tomato processing.
