Document Description
Amendment to the 1993 General Plan/Local Coastal Plan and the 1998 Zoning Code to allow drive through facilities within certain areas of the City located outside the Coastal Zone. The present policies prohibit all drive through facilities within City limits.
The proposed changes will affect General Plan/Local Coastal Plan Policy LU-5(c) and Chapter 12, Table 2-5 of the 1998 Zoning Code. The Zoning Code policy will be amended to allow drive-through facilities with a Conditional Use Permit, for those areas in the City Zoned General Commercial (CG) and located outside the Coastal Zone. Additionaly, Section 17.38.060 will be added to the 1998 Zoning Code, providing standards for development of drive through facilities.
