Document Description
The William S. Hart Union High School District is proposing to add stadium lighting at the existing Valencia High School Stadium. The proposed addition includes the installation of directional metal halide lights that have a direct illumination. Four light poles each 90 feet in height will be installed around the perimeter of the stadium. A total of 25 lights will be mounted on each pole. The light poles will have an average diameter of 22.572 inches and the sets of light fixtures will measure approximately 18 feet 6 inches by 7 feet 3 inches. Each individual light houses a single 1500-watt metal halide bulb, and is capable of producing a maximum of 150,000 lumens. The fixtures can be directed so that the majority of the light is focused on the field.
