Document Description
A variety of methods, including prescribed burns, manual removal, and herbicide application, will be used to control approximately 15 acres of Beachgrass in the Pismo Dunes Natural Preserve at Pismo State Beach, restoring foredune habitat and improving conditions for native plant species and foraging areas for native fauna Project will extend over two herbicide application seasons, with subsequent maintenance phases. As the foredune community regenerates, it is expected to also provide additional nesting habitat for the Western snowy plover.
