Document Description
The project is the replacement of corroded twin 900mm corrigated metal pipe culverts with a single 1200mm reinforced concrete pipe culvert. The project location is PM 36.94 on Highway 1 in Monterey County. The drainage is unnamed and flows directly to the Pacific Ocean. The new culvert inlet will be realigned approximately 27 feet up drainage from the existing inlet and a new "L" shaped headwall constructed. The channel above the new inlet will be excavated, as necessary, to provide transition to the new inlet. At the outlet a new concrete flared-end section and 6m by 6m rock dissipater will be constructed. All equipment will operate from the roadway and disturbed shoulder.
