Document Description
Manifest variance renewal for El Dorado County Environmental Health Department's permit-by-rule (PBR) mobile household hazardous waste (HHW) collection program from hazardous waste manifest requirements between County operated PBR facilities. The variance is limited to the transfer of HHW from temporary and permanent PBR HHW collection facilities to other PBR HHW collection facilities. This variance provides for an appropriate and safe means of hazardous waste transfer. The variance is based on the evidence that: 1. public agency sponsored and supervised program will use this variance; 2. The hazardous wastes are transported by a registered hauler; 3. The wastes are packaged and transported per federal Department of Transportation standards; and, 4. A copy of this variance will be carried in all vehicles transporting HHW under this variance.
