Present Land Use
Present land use is primarily residential with commercial uses at the Woodhaven Lane/Turner Road intersection and the Mokelumne Street/Lower Sacramento Road intersection. Zoning and general Plan land uses are residential and commercial.
The proposed project consists of pedestrian facilities, landscape and irrigation facilities, intersection operations, roadway cross sections, and parking, as well as installation of a wrought-iron fence at the Woodbridge Irrigation District canal bridge. The project also involves replacing the existing partially stop sign-controlled intersection of Chestnut Street, Mokelumne Street, and Woodbridge Road with a roundabout.
