Document Description
The Town of Hillsborough is proposing to enlarge (upsize) an existing trunk sewer line that is hydraulically undersized and/or in poor condition. The trunk sewer to be enlarged is located along El Cerrito Avenue and Crystal Springs Road, adjacent to San Mateo Creek. Total trunk sewer length to be enlarged is approximately 15,900 feet, including approximately 3,300 feet adjacent to San Mateo Creek. No creek crossings are proposed. The project would utilize "cut and cover" construction methods in roadways, and in-situ "trenchless" construction methods along San Mateo Creek, in order to avoid disturbing the creek and riparian habitat.
