Document Description
The City's Enterprise Zone provides various tax credits and other financial incentives to businesses when they locate in the Zone. These include hiring tax credits, net operating loss carryovers, and manufacturers; investment tax credits. The existing Enterprise Zone will expire on January 10, 2003 and the City will be applying to the California Trade and Commerce Agency for a five-year extension. No changes in the Zone's boundaries are proposed. No specific developments are associated with the time extension. No General Plan or zoning changes are proposed either.
