The project is an update of the City's Housing Element in accordance with Article 10.6 of State Planning and Zoning Law. This update covers the period 1999 to June 20, 2006. The proposed Housing Element identifies and analyzes existing and projected housing needs, and provides a statement of goals, policies, quantified objectives and programs for the preservation, improvement and development of housing within the City and sphere of influence.
