The project consists of three new multipurpose play fields that were identified in the 1998 South Lake Tahoe Alliance for Recreation Facilities Master Plan. In addition to the three proposed play fields, the project includes a parking lot, new access roadway, and park facilities building on land owned by the Lake Tahoe Community College, California Tahoe Conservancy, and South Tahoe Public Utility District. Site access would be provided from Al Tahoe Boulevard on the STPUD-owned parcel.
