- The project adds two lanes into the median on SR99, that would improve the route from a 4-lane to a 6-lane freeway, with improvements to the local road crossing at Mariposa Rd., Farmington Rd. (SR4 E.), Golden Gate Ave., Charter Way, and Main St. Existing on and off-ramps are proposed for removal at Farmington Rd. and Charter Way, and a new interchange is proposed at the Golden Gate overcrossing. Additionally, the railroad crossing, just south of the Golden Gate overcrossing is proposed to be reconstructed.
