Document Description
Line Section 130 AC Mitigation Project is a maintenance project on a 20-inch diameter petroleum pipeline running between Concord and Sacramento. An Alternating Current (AC) Mitigation System, consisting of an encased copper cable and grounding rods, will be installed primarily in a 6-inch trench alongside the pipeline. In areas with surface waters, horizontal directional drilling will be used to install the cable.
