Document Description
The Operator proposes the following: 1) impact five drainages along the Silicon Valley Berryessa Extension (SVBX) Project alignment, 2) replacement of an existing Union Pacific Railroad bridge with a Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) aerial guideway, 3) a double box culvert with new roadway bridge to Berryessa Station Way, and 4) installation of a drainage outfall to Coyote Creek. The SVBX Project consists of the first 9.9 miles of the larger 16.1-mile BART Silicon Valley Project. The SVBX Project begins from the BART Warm Springs Station in Fremont and terminated near Las Plumas Avenue in San Jose. The SVBX Project includes two stations: Milpitas Station in Milpitas and Berryessa Station in San Jose. The California Department of Fish and Game (DFG) is executing a Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2011-0303-3 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Ann Calnan, Senior Environmental Planner/ Santa Clara VTA.
