VTA requested a Streambed Alteartion Agreement to conduct drainage improvements in the VTA and Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) right-of-way in preparation of replacing the freight tracks in order to maintain functionality. The Freight Railroad Relocation/Lower Berryessa Creek Project - Drainage Improvements begins at an unnamed creek in Fremont, Alameda County, referred to as Line B by the Alameda County Flood Control and Water Conservation District (ACFCWCD), and ends at Wrigley Creek in Milpitas, Santa Clara County.
