Document Description
The proposed project involves the release into Piru Creek of water purchased from the State Water Project. The water would be released into Piru Creek from Pyramid Reservoir. The water would flow down Piru Creek, in a southerly direction, and be received at Lake Piru. United Water plans to receive 3,150 acre-feet per year of its annual entitlement to water from the State Water Project over the next 10 years. In addition, a one-time amount of 6,768 AF will be received in one year, for a total of 9,918 AF that year. Releases would be scheduled to begin in mid-June, after the critical breeding season for the Arroyo Toad.
