- Document Description
- The project involves the installation of a new VOC treatment equipment. The primary treatment alternative being considered is air strippers. However, Liquid Phase Granular Activated Carbon (LGAC) absorption is being considered as an alternative VOC treatment process. San Gabriel Valley Water Company proposes to install four new air-stripping towers with combined capacity of 7,800 gpm. The alternative LGAC system will consist of eight to ten LGAC Absorption Systems operating in parallel. Each system of "train" will be comprised of three absorber vessels operating in series. The LGAC Adsorption System will have a combined capacity of 7,800 gpm.
