Document Description
The Newhall School District proposes to undertake the acquisition, of approximately 12.12 gross acres of land and 10.0 net acres of land for the construction and operation of the proposed Oak Hill Elementary School. The project contemplates construction of classroom facilities organized in single story buildings with covered walkways and fencing. Facilities to be constructed include classrooms for approximately 750 students in grades kindergarten through sixth (K-6); administration and library buildings; kitchen; outdoor food shelter; multi-purpose auditorium; parking facilities for visitors and staff with approximately 90 spaces on site; bus loading/drop-off area; parent loading/drop off area; athletic courts including hardscape and turf play fields. Lighting includes low level security lighting, signage lighting, and illumination of the surface parking lot and associated pedestrian area. An emergency generator will be placed on site.
