The proposed project is a request for a Conditional Use Permit to authorize the grading of approximately 100,000 cubic yards in the development of a paddock for use as an equestrian training facility. Existing structures on-site include 3 small training arenas, 3 barns of various sizes, one office and lounge building, three employee housing units, utilizing mobile and modular houses, a swimming pool, approximately 100 parking spaces, and numerous corrals and paddocks. The application also requests authorization of using the existing caretakers' 1,600 square feet modular home and two 10' by 45' mobile homes to be used as employee housing. The existing facility has the capacity for approximately 200 horses. However, on average there are no more than 100 to 150 at any time. The use of the facility has been strictly limited to members which has always been under 100. Existing operations was permitted under CUP No. 2184.
