Document Description
The proposed action involves the addition of approximately 3,200 acres to the 3,300-acre Revelopment Plan for Project No. 5-1986 and Project No. 5-1987, which was originally adopted in 1986 and expanded in 1987. The Amendment Area is located in the unincorporated community of Mead Valley, west of US-215 and south of Nandina Avenue. Although no development or construction is proposed at this time, implementation of the Plan Amendment is expected to facilitate reinvestment in properties in the Amendment Area, to address various environmental issues, and to eliminate conditions of physical and economic blight that hinder the improvement of the Amendment Area.
