The project site consists of a 71.80 parcel of land located approximately 2 miles south of the City of Shafter. The applicant is requesting approval of this Conditional Use Permit to allow the retention of a sand and gravel distribution site that has been established without prior land use approval. Approximately 15 acres of the property will be occupied by the processing and distribution site.
